Terms of Use
These terms describe how LoneStarWill may be used. They work together with the Disclaimer and other site notices.
Who you are contracting with
LoneStarWill is operated by LoneStarWill LLC, a Texas limited liability company. These Terms of Use are between you and LoneStarWill LLC.
The service
LoneStarWill is self-help software that guides eligible users through completing an official Texas simple-will form. Some plans also include one customer-initiated mailed printed signing package after the required PDF document or documents are ready. LoneStarWill is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Use does not create an attorney-client relationship. LoneStarWill LLC does not provide legal services.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
- Confirm that a supported form appears appropriate for your situation, including through the eligibility screening.
- Review the completed document before downloading it or, if your plan includes print fulfillment, before confirming the version to be sent to the print provider.
- Provide an accurate U.S. shipping address when purchasing a print plan.
- Properly print, sign, and execute any generated document outside the application, including the witness steps and the notary/self-proving procedure included with the supported official forms. Mailing a printed package does not execute a will.
- Safeguard downloaded and signed documents.
Payments and print fulfillment
When you continue to checkout, payment is processed by Stripe on a secure hosted Checkout page for LoneStarWill LLC. Pricing shown in the application applies to the purchase you complete.
For a plan that includes a printed package, payment alone does not send the will to print. You submit the included package separately from the paid workspace after the required PDF or PDFs are ready. When you confirm submission, the selected PDF document or documents and the shipping information collected at checkout are provided to a third-party print-and-mail service provider for fulfillment. Digital workspace access remains separate from print fulfillment.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes. LoneStarWill LLC may refuse or limit access where necessary to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
