Who operates the service

LoneStarWill is operated by LoneStarWill LLC, a Texas limited liability company. LoneStarWill LLC handles customer information as described on this page.

Information you provide

When you use the guided flow, you may enter names, family details, executor and guardian preferences, gift choices, and related answers needed to complete a supported Texas will form.

Before payment

Before payment, answers may remain in this browser's session storage so progress can be restored after a reload in the same browser session. There is no permanent customer account for that stage.

After payment

If you continue to secure checkout, answers are encrypted and stored in a temporary workspace so you can download your will and make limited edits. The temporary workspace remains available for up to 15 days. Access then ends, and stored workspace information is deleted. Early deletion may also be available from the workspace. Only the latest successful will document is retained during the temporary access period.

LoneStarWill may email a secure access link so you can return during that period. Stripe processes payment separately and may send its own payment receipt.

Printed-package fulfillment

If you purchase a plan that includes a mailed printed package and later choose to submit that package for printing, LoneStarWill sends the shipping name and address collected at checkout and the PDF document or documents being printed to a print-and-mail service provider (currently Lob.com, Inc.) so the provider can print and mail the package.

The 15-day workspace deletion period described above applies to information retained by LoneStarWill in the temporary workspace. A third-party print-and-mail provider may process or retain information under its own service terms, contractual obligations, security practices, and legal requirements after the package is submitted.

Technical information and analytics

Hosting and delivery providers may process technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as connection, request, and security logs.

LoneStarWill also uses Vercel Web Analytics on public-facing pages to understand site traffic and usage. The application is configured to exclude workspace, checkout, secure-access, preview-access, and API paths from those analytics events and to remove query strings and URL fragments from allowed page URLs before sending an analytics event.

PDF generation

When you generate a document, the application creates a filled official Texas will PDF from your structured answers.
