How It Works
LoneStarWill walks eligible users through a short screening, guided questions, review, and PDF generation for an official Texas will form. It does not provide legal advice.
The process
- Complete the eligibility screening. Answer a short series of questions so the application can determine whether one of the supported official forms may fit your situation.
- Answer guided questions. Enter family names, executor, and other choices your will requires, using full legal names where asked.
- Review the entered information. Check what you typed before continuing to signing instructions.
- Generate the appropriate Texas will PDF. The application fills the matching official form with your answers. Your digital PDF remains available during the temporary paid workspace period.
- Print the signing package. You can download and print the PDF yourself. If you purchased a print plan, you can instead use the separate workspace action to submit the completed PDF for one mailed, single-sided printed package after you confirm the version you want printed. Couples + Print waits until both wills are ready and mails them together in one package.
- Follow the offline signing instructions. Follow the provided instructions for witnesses and the notary/self-proving step included with the supported official form. Safekeeping happens outside this application. Generating or mailing a PDF is not the final legal step.
What this service supports
LoneStarWill is designed for relatively straightforward Texas will situations covered by the available official forms. If your circumstances do not fit, the eligibility check will say so and you should speak with a licensed Texas estate-planning attorney.
